News

  • May 14, 2007 - Initial release
  • Aug 6, 2008 - 1.0.4.1 is out. Older versions only worked with apr versions <1.0, because older aprs didn't require programs to commit transactions to the dbm files.  The new apr version uses Berkeley DB, which is transactional.  The old mod_auth_timeout never committed its transactions.  This was a bug, but did not become apparent until committing became required.
  • Aug 20, 2008 - 1.2.0 is out.  This version allows you to provide a logout link.  However, this version has some bad interactions with certain modules (see the included readme).  If you have problems, please use the 1.0.x branch instead.

Description

mod_auth_timeout is a module for Apache 2.2. It provides for idle timeouts when authenticating with a basic-auth-type authentication, such as mod_auth_basic or mod_auth_ldap.
