DescriptionsquidGuard is "an ultrafast and free filter, redirector and access controller for Squid". The 1.2 stable version was released in December of 2001, but work hasn't been done on it since. More recent patches have been contributed by Chris Frey and maintained separately.
We have written a patch for squidGuard as well, adding support for logging of all requests and fixing a minor memory bug. By default, squidGuard is only capable of logging "redirected" and "rewritten" requests, but is not capable of "passed" (allowed) requests. With the patch, logging of all traffic going through squidGuard is possible, making it a lot more useful for system administrators who require such logs. We have sent the patch to Chris who has improved on it, split it into two patches and made it available for download. Below, we have mirrored Chris' patches and also made one large patch consiting of the 10 smaller patches. The original patches are all available on the Net Direct squidGuard site.
